Britta Van Dun is a licensed acupuncturist, certified yoga instructor and intuitive healer.
With graduate degrees in Psychology from Columbia University, years as a counselor, and a decade of therapeutic exploration, I discovered that talk-therapy can take us quite far. Through transformative experiences in meditation, Chinese Medicine and yoga, I learned how much further we can grow.
Vitalized by movement and breath, I studied empathic reading, bodywork, energetics and touch. Establishing a private practice for flower + gem essences and intuitive therapy in 2008, I enjoyed collaborating with clients, composing essence formulas, and studying Chinese Medicine. In 2010, I graduated from Tri-State College of Acupuncture in NYC and became a licensed acupuncturist.
Through intensive clinical training and apprenticeship, I integrate classical Chinese, Japanese and contemporary trigger-point methods in a holistic setting. Courses in dietary, cranio-sacral and hands-on therapies, meditation and intuitive healing round out the practice. In March 2012, I was certified to teach yoga through Abhyasa Yoga‘s 200YTT Program. Homeopathy and herbology are quickly becoming very cherished fields of study.
I am forever grateful to the teachers, healers, guides and loved ones who have all helped me land (here/now). It’s my heart-of-hearts wish to help ease suffering so that all beings, without one single exception, may know the true nature of being – and alight*
